Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS)

The Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme is a national accreditation scheme which measures fleet performance and aims to drive up standards across areas such as; fuel efficiency, carbon emissions and road safety. Our voluntary accreditation at FORS Silver level demonstrates our commitment to safety and our choice to elevate the standard of our fleet of trucks.

Wenta Net Zero Gold

London Rock work alongside Wenta on their Net Zero Gold programme as part of our ongoing commitment to sustainability and to our target of reaching Net Zero by 2050. Our dedication to taking immediate climate action to reduce our impact is reflected by Wenta and we are proud to work with them on our journey to Net Zero.

Environmental Agency Waste Carriers

London Rock is licensed by the Environment Agency and holds Waste Carriers Licences for the transportation and disposal of waste for our customers. The Waste Carriers Licence is issued to ensure a full audit trail and to demonstrate that we meet the required standards for disposing of waste in a safe and environmentally appropriate manner. UKAS ISO 14001

ISO14001 is an international accreditation standard, awarded to us by UKAS (the U.K.’s National Accreditation Body) for our environmental management systems. ISO14001 demonstrates our commitment to reducing our environmental impact, complying with legal requirements and improving our environmental performance.

MPA Membership

MPA is the trade association for the aggregates, asphalt, cement, concrete, dimension stone, lime, mortar and industrial sand industries. As a member, London Rock support MPA’s five Key Aims and our membership embodies our commitment to the industry and its continuing improvement and development in the UK.
