- Crushed Concrete
Offering an affordable and environmentally friendly alternative to quarried stone. Crushed concrete can be processed to meet almost all the highway specifications, including Type 1 MOT, through 6F5 (also referred to as 6F2) to oversized crushed concrete, among others. Used as a subbase or as a fill material, crushed concrete is often utilised in the same way as quarried gravels.
- Crushed Brick
crushed brick, also referred to as brick hardcore, is available for use within haul roads, compounds, hard standing areas. Ideal for soft ground conditions.
- Crushed Asphalt
Also referred to as crushed tarmac or road planings, this material is typically used for roads, pathways and parking lots, crushed asphalt is otherwise known as tarmac planings, crushed tarmac, road scrapings, road scalpings, or tarmac chippings. Crushed tarmac can be screened and blended according to specification. Road planings are a by-product of road resurfacing, created when the surface layer of the tarmac is removed from the road. Typically used for haul roads, farm tracks, paths, roads, patios, driveways and more. Utilising road planings or crushed tarmac reduces the volume of tarmac disposed of in landfill, and are therefore environmentally friendly material.
- Gabion Stone
We source a variety of gabion stone options suitable for filling your gabion baskets and creating retaining or temporary flood walls, noise barriers or channel lining. Recycled gabion stone is typically made from non-frost susceptible stone and is usually sized from 75mm to 200mm.
- Reclaimed Track Ballast
A pure granite material, which retains its original load-bearing capacity, frost resistance and weather resistance even after removal and processing. This cost-effective material is suitable for use in haul roads, sub-base and hard-standing.
- Puddle Clay
London Rock supply puddle clay to a variety of projects where impermeable materials are required for lining ponds. We supply blue, clay, puddle clay and brown clay, for instances where permeability of less than 10-9 is required.
- Tipper trucks, grab lorries and bulker bodied tippers available for delivery
